My Floral Style with BOOHOO.COM*

As summer approaches, I have been scouting out some gorgeous summer clothes to wear when I jet off on my holidays. With the weather finally hotting up, gorgeous flowers beginning to bloom and the Chelsea Flower Show just around the corner, I am absolutely loving matching my fashion to the summery floral vibe all around us, and Boohoo.com have got this floral trend down to a tee! I have picked three of my favourite outfits from this trend, but there are so many other gorgeous items on their website at the minute I really recommend you have a look for yourself!

The first floral style item I feel in love with is the bomber jacket pictured in the first collage. Those of you who are regular readers of my blog will know that I absolutely love the bomber jacket trend. It is a silhouette which keeps coming back season after season and is such a fantastic way to give any outfit a really cool and causal "sports luxe" vibe. I love this bomber even more due to the amazing tropical floral print design and I will definitely be styling this over my bikini on the beach this summer!

The second outfit pictured is a fabulous co-ord set consisting of a matching top and shorts. I am such a sucker for co-ords, I love this trend and really hope it is one that doesn't die out any time soon! The great thing about them is that you can also mix and match, meaning you get endless fashion opportunities out of two purchases! If you want to flash the flesh this summer, but want something slightly more reserved then this outfit is the perfect choice, as the high-waisted shorts will conceal your stomach and the capped sleeved t-shirt will hide any upper arm problem areas, whilst still allowing you to flash a bit of upper-ab flesh. This outfit is so perfect, it can be styled from day to night- just throw on some flipflops and style with a beach bag and some sunglasses in the day time, and swap for some wedges and a clutch for a gorgeous night time look.

The final floral style outfit that I have chosen from the Boohoo website is this gorgeous skort playsuit. I own far too many playsuits to even begin counting. For some reason I seem to prefer them to dresses, and I think they are flattering on any body type as they bring you in at the waist, skim your stomach and allow you to show off your legs! This floral print is more delicate than the other two trends pictured and would lend itself perfectly to a summer garden party, teamed with some espadrilles and a gorgeous chunky bangle. Make sure you check out http://www.boohoo.com to get some of these outfits for yourself!

Fake Up

Morning lovelies! As promised, here's my review of my second recent Benefit splurge- the "Fake up" under eye concealer.

I have a slight confession to make... Before this purchase I have actually never in my life owned or used a concealer! Since I've always been lucky and never really suffered from spots, I didn't really see the need to buy one. However, recently I have been really stressed with university work and exam revision, so me and sleep haven't really been the best of friends, meaning I have been waking up with some not so attractive dark circles under my eyes and I basically tend to look like a bit of a zombie for half of the day! As usual, I have been using my Benefit eye cream every night, which I have always sworn by, as it's a great product for rehydrating your eyes and reducing dark circles, however, at the moment this cream alone doesn't really seem to be enough to cover up the circles in the day time.

Therefore I headed to boots and got the Benefit sales assistant to talk me through all their different concealers, and after trying a few I decided that "Fake Up" was the one for me. The great thing about it is that the concealer itself contains a hydrating balm, meaning it actually works to prevent your dark circles in the future, as well as covering them for the short term. The product is really easy to apply, you simply sweep the concealer under your eye, and gently blend it into your skin with your ring finger. As you apply the concealer, the hydrating balm around the edge mixes in with the concealer, meaning the product glides on so smoothly and feels so light and dewey on your skin. I am so in love with this product that I have no idea how I have ever lived without concealer before, especially as this product was specially created to deal with dark under eye circles.

Leave me a comment below and let me know your tips and tricks for covering under eye circles, I love hearing from you all and always try to reply to as many of your as possible! I'm also running a fab giveaway containing Benefit's amazing "Porefessional" so make sure you enter it HERE. I would also love it if you'd follow me on bloglovin and help me reach that 1000 mark!

Stay Flawless

Hello gorgeous followers... before I start my review of one of my lovely new Benefit purchases (I think I am actually addicted- I officially cannot enter Boots without purchasing at least one Bemefit product!) I would like to ask you all a HUGE favour! I would absolutely love it if you could follow THIS LINK and nominate my blog for the Best New Beauty Blog award I would be eternally grateful! Also since I've only been blogging for a couple of months, it would be ever better if you could tick the box to enter me for the best new blog in association with Next. Thankyou so so much in advance! I love you all dearly!

Yesterday I decided to go on a nice walk in the sun round Manchester as a much needed break from revision, but typical me I end up stopping off in boots and spending much more money than I care to admit! However, who doesn't love a good motivational treat every once in a while?!

I've been using the Benefit "Hello Flawless" foundation for about 16 months, and have been teaming it with their amazing "Porefessional" primer, however, I'm coming to the end of my primer and instead of repurchasing, I decided to try the newer "Stay Flawless" 15 hour primer from Benefit, seeing as it is part of the same range as my foundation. The primer itself is lovely light and silky, not dissimilar to the foundation itself, and I would be more than happy to leave the house wearing nothing but the primer on those days when we just don't have time in the morning for a full face of makeup! However, this primer is also fantastic for when you do have a full face of makeup, especially when you intend that makeup to stay put! I don't know about you but I find it so incredibly irritating that I look at myself in the mirror mid afternoon and it appears as though half my makeup has slipped off my face... well that certainly doesn't happen with this product- it is so good at keeping my makeup on that it's actually a struggle to get it all off again at night! (This is a struggle I am definitely willing to face) and I have absolutely fallen in love with this primer after only two days of use.

The product costs £24.50, which may seem a little pricey for a primer, but I maintain that Benefit is such a fantastic makeup brand and I am more than willing to fork out a little extra in the knowledge that I am buying a high quality product which will last a very long time.

Leave me comments below and let me know if you've tried this product, I love reading all your lovely comments and always try to respond to as many of you as possible! Also I'd love it if you'd follow me on bloglovin and help me get to that 1000 mark, and don't forget to check out my twitter and instagram!

Morning lovelies!! What an absolutely beautiful Sunday morning we're having here in Manchester! I just can't get over how amazing the weather has been recently, and fingers crossed it remains lovely throughout summer- but knowing our luck it will start raining as soon as my exams are over and I actually have freedom back in my life!!

This was a very mixed week for me! Firstly, I found out that I have been accepted onto a month long placement as a fashion buyer at the House of Fraser head office in London, which was some lovely welcome news after finding out that along with my preexisting allergies to monosodium glutamate and artificial sweeteners, I am also allergic to wheat, potatoes and bananas, so I have had to have a huge diet overhaul (which explains why my instagram is so food related this week!)

On Easter Sunday, me and my family drove over to Sheffield for my cousins wedding which was such a lovely day and after my very long and unsuccessful hunt for a dress (read my ootd post HERE), the dress I finally chose was perfect and I had such a great Easter weekend. (Plus there was the added bonus that lent was finally over and I could indulge in the absolute heaven than is chocolate again!!)

Overall my Easter holidays have been incredible and it makes me sad to think they're over and exams are just around the corner, but I have lots of exciting prospects and holidays lined up so fingers crossed the summer months will be just as amazing.

Leave your comments below and let me know what you've been up to this week, I love hearing from you all and always try to reply to as many of you as possible! I'd also love it if you'd follow me on bloglovin, and don't forget to check out my twitter and instagram!

Diamonds and Dollar Bills - OOTD with MARTOFCHINA*

I'm wearing; Leggings $14.24, Jumper $7.43, Shoes $18.79

Hello lovelies! So today I am bringing you an OOTD with all products shown from martofchina, a fantastic website full of really original designs (I mean how amazing is the dollar bill print on these leggings!!) and all of their clothes are so reasonably priced!

I have three items from this website, first these A-M-A-Z-I-N-G printed leggings which I am just so in love with you would not believe!! They are so unbelievably comfortable too, I could literally dance my way around in them all day and night... I'm even sat wearing them as we speak because they're far too comfy to take off! The website features loads of different patterned leggings starting from as little as $3.70, and going up to $20.73 for their most expensive pair... which is still ridiculously fantastic value in my eyes! If you want to check out any of their leggings and buy some for yourself, you can do by clicking HERE

The second product is this amazing diamond printed jumper! It is so fluffy and cosy on the inside, with the printed design and contrast sleeves on the outside. Personally, I am a huge lover of jumpers, I have such a massive collection as I feel they work with any outfit. You can throw them on with a pair of jeans or leggings or wear them on top of a dress for a more quirky look, so when I found this gorgeous diamond print jumper I really just couldn't resist! Have a look at the martofchina jumpers HERE

Lastly, I'm wearing these absolutely gorgeous heeled boots. I have been looking for some heeled ankle boots for so long but have struggled to find any I actually like, until I came across this really quirky monochrome pair! The heels look huge so add lots of height to my small frame and elongate my legs perfectly, but they also have a really tall hidden platform, meaning they are actually surprisingly comfortable too! Along with these boots, the website offer so many amazing shoes at much cheaper prices than you will find in the standard high-street stores... Have a look at their shoes HERE

Also if you enter to code "coupon15" at the check out you will get 15% off your order!

Please leave your lovely comments below and let me know if you buy anything from this website! I love hearing from you guys and always try and respond to as many of your comments as possible. Soap and Glory Sit Tight 4-D

So I've been lusting over the Soap and Glory "Sit Tight" product for a very long time, but now I am incredibly happy that I didn't invest, as they have just launched the new and improved "Sit Tight Super intense 4-D" product, and as soon as I heard about it I rushed to boots to buy mine! The product promises to produce firmer skin in 14 days, and only 4 days in to my use of the product twice daily, I am experiencing incredible results!

Soap and Glory market this product as being a "super-intense sit-optimised firming serum", with skin firming, skin smoothing and stimulating properties and ingredients that promise to help banish cellulite and leave skin feeling firmer and smoother. The packaging itself (like all Soap and Glory products), is gorgeous, and the product is so easy to apply, with the help of the innovate ergonomic tri-ball application.

You simply take off the lid, turn the nozzle to the "on" position and press down on the desired area until the serum starts to come out. You then move the product all around the desired area until it has had a good covering of the product. The bottle itself warns that there may be a feeling of heat to the area, and although I did not experience this, I did have an initial itchy and burning sensation that I wasn't particularly fond of. However, this wore off after 3 seconds or so, and my skin felt instantly tighter. After having used the product twice a day for a number of days, I no longer feel any discomfort and am definitely noticing some fantastic results!

I started by using this product on my stomach, and after two days of success I have now moved on to my upper thighs too. Priced at £18.00 from boots, and sold in part of their "3 for 2" promotion, you really can't dispute the product and I can not recommend it enough, especially as we head towards bikini season!

Please leave your lovely comments below as usual, I love hearing from you and will always try to reply to you all! I'd also LOVE it if you would do me a massive favour and follow THIS LINK and nominate http://amyelizabethfashion.blogspot.co.uk in the Best Personal Style Blogger (Newcomer) category. Also feel free to follow me on bloglovin and check out my twitter and instagram! Thank you in advance my lovelies!

Modelling Debut

So today I was incredibly lucky, and got to go to an amazing photoshoot! A few weeks back, I was stopped on the street and asked if modelling was something that I'd ever considered, (which it definitely isn't- apart from being 5 foot 4, I never thought I'd have the confidence to stand in front of the camera and pose), however, the scout explained all about the company and what they offer, and I felt like I had nothing to lose by going for the initial portfolio shoot.

I arrived and was promptly whisked off into hair and makeup, and was made to feel incredibly welcome and comfortable the whole time. After this, I was taken downstairs to the studio where I changed into my first outfit (a Miss Selfridge black playsuit), and began my photoshoot. I changed into my second outfit of my lovely Miss Selfridge mirror print tunic, before donning a more casual look of skinny jeans and tight black vest top, and heading outside to shoot some shots on location.

I am so happy with how the shots came out, and would love to do more work like this in the future!
