As most of you will know from my latest blog post, or if you're a follower of mine on twitter or instagram, on Saturday I spent the day at London Fashion Week! Today, I thought I would give you a sneak peak into what I got up to in-between shows and how I filled my jam packed day!
5:45 A.M. - Alarm goes off and I reluctantly roll out of bed
6.50 A.M. - Me and Jonny leave the house and drive to Warrington Bank Quay Station
7.20 A.M. - Our train departs for London, and excitement starts to kick in!
9.11 A.M. - Arrive at London Euston, and take the tube to Charing Cross where we walk to Sommerset House
10.00 A.M. The gates open and in we go!
10.15 A.M. - Our first show of the day begins- the M&S preview. (They really have upped their style stakes this year and I have to admit I was incredibly impressed! They even threw some nice male models in the mix too!)
10.45 A.M. - With one show down, and half an hour to kill before the doors opened for show number two, we started to explore the many rooms and tents around Sommerset House, starting with the 'Outnet' shop the runway tent, filled with gorgeous clothes along with a Toni and Guy and Maybelline stand.
11.15 A.M. - Show two: trends. [See previous blog post for an in depth review!]
12.00 A.M. - We ventured into the Canon 360 tent... such an amazing experience! Whilst wearing some impressive head gear, goggles and head phones, you are completely emersed in a 260 degree 'day in the life' experience of a model on the runway at LFW. So bizarre, but so incredible!
12.30 A.M. - Let the shopping begin! Starting in the West Wing, we slowly made our way through all of the ground floor rooms in Sommerset House... only dragging myself away from the Vivienne Westwood stand as it was time to begin queuing for show number three.
1.15 P.M. - Show three- the designer show! [Look out for a blog post about this later in the week!]
2.00 A.M. A final look round the accessories stands, before we gave in to our hunger and left to grab some food!
